This course is ideal for those who wish to develop advanced skills needed in Hair & Media Make-Up. The course will involve both practical and theory classes. During the practical classes you will work in a salon environment and will be expected to carry out hair and make-up services on clients once you have reached a certain level of ability.

Hairdressing Level 2 Diploma (Full Time)

Hairdressing Level 3 Diploma (Full Time)

This course is ideal for those of you who wish to develop the advanced skills needed in hairdressing including advanced colouring techniques and cutting edge fashion work. The course will involve both practical and theory classes. During the practical lessons, you will work in a salon environment and will be expected to carry out hairdressing services on clients, once you have reached a certain level of ability. You will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of shows and competitions throughout the course.

Hair Professional Level 2 Hair Apprenticeship (Apprenticeship)

The Hair professional standard has two routes Barbering & Hairdressing.There are core units that are common to both routes and then specialist units for each discipline. During the programme apprentices will attend college on a day release programme to study a Level 2 Diploma. This Diploma has both Knowledge and Competency Units. The programme is similar to the original apprenticeship with the addition of the end assessment which is mandatory for all new apprenticeship standards

ESOL with Hair & Beauty (Part Time)

ESOL Students will work towards Ascentis Award in Speaking & listening which develops verbal communication skills to ensure that students can understand information given in discussions as well as provide information in English and engage in conversation on a range of everyday topics. Skills include correct use of grammar for spoken language, giving structured accounts of anecdotes, instructions or advice and to ask for clarification if required. This will be tailored to the Hair, Barbering & Beauty sector vocabulary Hair, Barbering and Beauty Learn the basic underpinning skills of the Hair, Barbering and Beauty Sector. Students can specialise in either basic Hairdressing, Barbering or Beauty Therapy techniques. The course provides students with an introduction to careers within the sector.

Women's Hairdressing VTCT Level 2 Certificate (Part Time)

This is an intermediate vocational qualification that focuses on the development of a broad range of women's hairdressing skills,supported by relevant underpinning theoretical knowledge. The purpose of this qualifications is to develop a high level of occupational ability and provide a sound platform from which is to progress to employment or higher study at level 3.
