ESOL with Hair & Beauty (Part Time)

ESOL Students will work towards Ascentis Award in Speaking & listening which develops verbal communication skills to ensure that students can understand information given in discussions as well as provide information in English and engage in conversation on a range of everyday topics. Skills include correct use of grammar for spoken language, giving structured accounts of anecdotes, instructions or advice and to ask for clarification if required. This will be tailored to the Hair, Barbering & Beauty sector vocabulary Hair, Barbering and Beauty Learn the basic underpinning skills of the Hair, Barbering and Beauty Sector. Students can specialise in either basic Hairdressing, Barbering or Beauty Therapy techniques. The course provides students with an introduction to careers within the sector.
