Graphic Design Level 3 - Olumide

Olumide came to John Ruskin College to study Graphic Design. He decided to study the course as he has always been into Art and Design and particularly chose JRC as he felt comfortable and even went on to say “if I had to, I would choose them again.”

He has enjoyed learning new skills on Adobe programmes and letting his creativity flow in the classroom, adding that his time on the course has “influenced my direction for my career. I want to pursue Graphic Design even more.” Speaking about his course teachers, he remarked that:

“They really do make it more than just learning, they give you a whole new mind-set and teach you the necessary skills you need”.

Olumide has been fortunate enough to complete work experience with a company called Appa Me Ltd, who help families in Africa change their lifestyles for the better. As part of his experience, Olumide created three posters for advertisements to help the cause.

For his future plans, Olumide has expressed an interest in continuing his studies in Graphic Design at University.

“One day I would love to be good enough to own my own company with a team of other skilled graphic designers. John Ruskin has helped guide me in the right direction and I’m sure they will do the same for many more students.”
