Childcare and Early Years Practitioner Level 2 - Jeanie

Jeanie joined JRC after visiting us at an Open Event. She spoke to one of the Childcare tutors and really liked chatting to her, adding “she really sold the course for me!”

Aspiring to become a Private Nanny, the course stood out to Jeanie as the Course Co-Ordinator had a lot of experience and expertise in the field.

“She was very enthusiastic and I felt supported enough to study the subject.”

The course itself has been really enjoyable for Jeanie, commenting how:

“...the number of students in the class was perfect for me, I received a lot of support in and outside of the College when and where I needed it. All the teachers have been excellent and I could not have asked for more.”

She also completed a work placement at a local private nursery, working alongside staff and the children. “It gave me an insight into what it’s like to work in a nursery setting and working within a team too.”

Summarising her time at John Ruskin College, Jeanie said:

“I have absolutely loved it as I felt at home the moment I got there. All the teachers are very motivated to get you the best grades possible and have supported me through my journey. I always look forward to arriving at College, as I feel safe and get a big level of support as I walk in. I will always remember my time here and I will miss it.”
