Business Level 2 - Hikmatullah

Hikmatullah started at John Ruskin College in KS4, before moving up to a Business Level 2 course. He has enjoyed doing Business as “it opens you up to lots of options”. Hikmatullah explained that he’s always had a passion for Business, and enjoys learning about marketing in particular. Outside of his studies, Hikmatullah helps as a translator with Afghan communities and also plays cricket with a refugee cricket team.

Working in teams on projects is a big highlight of the course for Hikmatullah. He has also found that whenever he asks for help, his tutor is “really approachable” and that she makes everything really easy to understand.

After completing his KS4, Hikmatullah decided to stay with JRC to study for his Business course as he felt “comfortable” with the environment and considered it a “peaceful place to learn”. He also felt that his tutors are “friendly and really supportive”. He even went on to say: “These are the reasons why I stayed on for so long as they have seen me through my journey since I started. They feel like family”.
