Travel and Tourism Museum Trip
Date: 07 December 2021
Students from Travel and Tourism Level 3 recently visited the Science and Natural History Museums in London. The trip provided them with a chance to reflect on aspects that they have learned on their course as well as reinforce their learning.
In addition, they had the opportunity to experience the customer service provided, how the museums monitored their customer service, methods of funding, and types of customers that visited the museums and how the museums met their needs.
They also discussed how museums could improve their facilities to attract more visitors of their own age group. With managing customer experiences principles of marketing being fundamental to their studies, this was an excellent way for them to use the knowledge they have learnt.
They gained a great insight into various components of the industry. All in all, the event provided an educational experience for those in attendance and will assist with future assignments.
Applications are open now for our Travel & Tourism courses, starting in September 2022. Visit our dedicated course area here.
