‘Proud to Be Me’ Week 4-8 March - Celebrating Diversity at JRC and ESC!
Date: 05 March 2024
We’re excited to celebrate ‘Proud 2 B Me’ Week here at Orbital South Colleges, a week dedicated to celebrating diversity, equality, and inclusion among students and staff. Our goal is to encourage students and staff to be their ‘authentic selves’.
This week aims to create an environment where every individual feels valued, respected, and empowered. From cultural showcases to interactive sessions, we are offering a wide range of activities including the ‘Proud 2 Be Me’ music show and Deaf Awareness training - there is something for everyone. These sessions will also provide valuable insights for creating a more welcoming and supportive environment within the Colleges.
‘Proud 2 Be Me’ Week is not just a week-long event, but a statement of a stronger, accepting College Community.
Want to get involved? Ask your tutors today to book your space for inspiring sessions and showcases.
