Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week at JRC!
Date: 05 February 2020
National Apprenticeship Week takes place from 3 to 7 February.
This annual celebration of apprenticeships will bring the whole Apprenticeship community together to celebrate the impact of Apprenticeships on individuals, employers and the economy. There is so much to gain in selecting an Apprenticeship route and the choices are wide and cover every sector. Apprenticeships are for everyone and of any age and at any point in your career.
Here's what we've been up to this week:
City of London Corporation Event
We were invited to City of London Corporation to their levy-funded Apprenticeships open day, which was a chance for their internal staff to look at some of the training courses available to them via their training partners. It was a great day, with a number of staff registering their interest with Orbital South Colleges and we look forward to growing our relationship with the City of London Corporation.

Mayor's Business Support Seminar
Our Vice Principal for Business Development for the Orbital South Colleges group, Kam Dehal, and other members of the Apprenticeship team attended the Mayor’s Business seminar at Croydon Town Hall on Monday evening. Kam commented that it was such a great event and was inspired by the keynote talks by his worshipful Mayor of Croydon, Councillor Humayun Kabir and Councillor Manju Shahul Hameed regarding the opportunities and vision for Croydon. The event was a great opportunity to talk to businesses about their training needs and a great start to NAW 2020.
