John Ruskin College Hosts Successful SEND Parent Event

On November 14, JRC held a heartwarming and successful Parent Event, bringing together parents, carers, and the college community to celebrate the strengths and successes of the SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) provision.

The event aimed to amplify the voices of parents and carers, offering them a platform to express their thoughts on what they appreciate about John Ruskin College SEND provision and to contribute their views and ideas for future improvements. The atmosphere was charged with positivity as attendees shared their insights, encouraging a sense of community and collaboration.

The SEND students played a pivotal role in ensuring the event's success. They demonstrated their skills and commitment by taking on various responsibilities, including preparing and serving refreshments, distributing surveys, and assisting guests in navigating the event space.
