Business Students take a trip to Emirates and Park Theatre

Date: 06 November 2024

12 students studying our Business Management Level 3 course gained first-hand experience of the business environment through visiting the Emirates and Park Theatre.

With both businesses based in Finsbury Park, students were able to analysis and compare the differences and similarities of both businesses within the same eco-system.

The Emirates provided students with an insight into a large global institution, brand and infrastructure, whilst Park Theatre looks into a SME within the Creative Industry.

Students have two exams coming up in Business Decision Making and Principles of Management. With this trip, students could comprehend and debate about the theoretical concepts they have been studying and reinforcing key business principles.

Finally, it enabled students to consider possible job roles they might want to undertake in the future. They looked at the pros and cons of working for a big organisation like Emirates, as well as a small business like Park Theatre.

After the trip, students looked at different available roles in Marketing, Finance, Managerial roles and also alternative career options such as creative or technology based roles, that they may not have considered.
