College Weather Update

We would like to confirm that the College will be open on Tuesday 13 December.

Do plan your journey carefully before you start your commute and take extra care as the freezing weather continues to avoid potential ice.

We hope that everyone stayed safe and look forward to welcoming staff, students and visitors back into College as usual from Tuesday 13 December.

To ensure the safety of all our stakeholders, the College has taken the decision to close.
We are keeping the weather and travel disruption under review and will update our position on this webpage. 

Guidance for students
If you are required to be at College today, please continue your studies at home. Your tutor will be in touch with you to advise on details from approximately 10am. 

Guidance for visitors
Please contact the member of staff you are coming to see for the status of the planned visit to College sites.

Guidance for staff
All staff will adhere to the College Adverse Weather Policy. 
Staff should also inform the Estates Helpdesk if they or their visitors/contractors need to come to either site for any planned works.

The College only closes in rare circumstances, please check this page for regular updates should our position change.

Update: Sunday 11 December 18:30

The MET office has issued a ‘Yellow’ weather warning for London and the South East due to snow and ice. 

We will be monitoring the situation to advise of access to the College sites.  At this time we are expecting to remain open on Monday 12 December. 

The College websites will be updated at 6:45 am on Monday 12 December.

The College only closes in rare circumstances, please check this page for regular updates should our position change.

If we need to close, the College Adverse weather policy will apply.
