NEW Careers Hub!
Date: 08 March 2022
In celebration of National Careers Week this week, our brand-new online Careers Hub is now live!
The Careers Hub was created to help students throughout their educational journey and assist with their future career progression. We understand that thinking about the next steps can sometimes be daunting with so many options available, but with our wonderful Careers Team on hand they’ll be able to give you advice and guidance on all things careers. We have the aim of helping students focus on the now but also prepare them for the future.
Why should I check out the Careers Hub?
Our Careers Hub is a great tool to use if you’re still pondering the question, “What will I do after College?”. Students and parents will have access to a wide range of valuable resources to help aid their decision. Our Resource page offers great links to find advice and guidance for future education and careers, including: Careers Guidance, Higher Education, Apprenticeships and Volunteering. If you still have any additional questions, our Careers Team are here to help.
What else does the Careers Hub offer?
Students can also discover their dream career by taking part in the Skills-o-Meter quiz or comparing current occupations with our Career-o-Meter. These are really fun activities and can help you decide what you might want to do within your chosen industry.
Students can also check out the Careers Programme Calendar, to keep updated with what activities are happening throughout the academic year. These activities will allow students to meet, network, and connect with employers, industry experts and universities. The calendar is updated on a yearly basis and if you have any suggestions email the Careers team here: careershub@osc.ac.uk or complete our Enquiry form here.
