BTEC Level 2 & GCSE Results Day 2022

On Thursday 25 August 2022, GCSE English and Maths students alongside BTEC Level 2 students from John Ruskin College celebrated their results. Most students who completed their Level 2 qualification are continuing their studies with us or progressing to an Apprenticeship or Full-time employment. 

Lindsay Pamphilon, Principal of Orbital South College Group commented: “We are incredibly proud of our students collecting their BTEC and GCSE results this morning, the class of 2022 has been extremely resilient after two years of unprecedented times. For students who are unsure of their next step, the Colleges are open and we have specialist teams readily available to offer advice, guidance and support.”

Mature student, Carole joined JRC in 2021 to study GCSE English so she could further her studies as a trainee teacher and go on to pursue qualifying teacher status. “I am ecstatic with my Grade 6 result and can now continue doing what I love. My tutor, Ekta was brilliant and so supportive.” Carole specialises in teaching children with special needs and plans to gain her postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE).

Once again congratulations to all our students who received their GCSE results and/or  BTEC Level 2 results this morning!
