Are you looking to enrol on a course at John Ruskin College this term? If yes then we would like to meet you!

We know this can be an exciting time and filled with lots of questions about your options. 

There are a number of reasons you might be joining the College at this time. You may have joined another College and it's not a good fit or simply applying late, whatever your reason, it's never too late to enrol.

Meeting our Client Services Team is the perfect opportunity to have all your questions answered whilst getting a place on a course that is right for you so make sure you come down and meet us.

They are on hand to offer you impartial information, advice and guidance across a variety of areas, including:

  • Course information, applications and enrolment
  • Progression options and careers advice
  • Financial information, advice and guidance
  • Higher Education and University support

Enrolment FAQs

 

If you did not get the grades you were hoping for, do not worry! 

Come to the College to meet our friendly staff who can talk through your options.

You’ll be able to receive information advice and guidance from our Careers and Curriculum staff to help you find a course for you.

If you have already been assigned an enrolment time but could not attend, don't worry!

Simply come to the College during the week from 09:00 and we will enrol you on your chosen course that day.  

 

 

No booking or appointments are required. Simply arrive at the College and our team will take you through the enrolment process. 

 

When you come to the College, please bring the following with you.

  • Identification ID - we need proof of your residency
  • Evidence of your qualifications
  • Evidence of any benefits received
  • Evidence of income - you may not have to pay fees for courses if you are aged 19 or over on 31 August 2024
  • Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)

If you don’t have all of these items, bring what you can and our staff will advise on the next steps.

We offer a wide range of vocational Full-Time Courses, from BTECs to T Levels we have them all.

We are now taking applications for September 2024. View all our Full-time courses and apply online or visit us at our next open event to speak to tutors and view our facilities.


Part-time Qualification and Leisure courses (for ages 19+)

Our Part-time courses are designed to help you progress at work, retrain for a new career or learn a new skill. As your local adult learning provider, we offer a range of evening, online and short courses timetabled to allow you to fit your studies around existing family or work commitments.

Higher Education

We are proud to announce that the Department for Education (DfE) has approved the title of ‘Orbital South Colleges University Centre’ for our growing Higher Education provision.

We are still accepting applications for the wide range of Higher Education courses that are available to study at East Surrey College in Redhill for 2024 entry.
