Teaming up with Sutton United Football Club

We are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership between John Ruskin College and Sutton United Football Club!

This brings together the best of the education and football worlds, with well-established Sutton United Football Academy alongside the strong supportive learning environment offered at JRC. It symbolises a wonderful opportunity for local students to benefit from early access to the professional world of football, in an outstanding education environment. Students will be studying either Level 2 or 3 BTEC Sport qualification, alongside full-time football training and matches.

This provides students with a clear route to employment, whether in the football world, in the wider leisure industry or beyond. Students will also be able to benefit from enrichment, mentoring and work experience activities as part of the Academy programme. The Academy is an integral part of the football club, and therefore the wider community.
