For this apprenticeship standard, we provide a day release programme for 2 years to study a Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Engineering. In addition, we will support you with a practical skills training programme. This will support the apprentice in understanding fundamental engineering skills. We will then support you with guidance on the training on specific items in the workplace and preparation for the End Point Assessment. Welding apprentices will receive formal tuition in our workshop alongside theory sessions to support their role in the workplace.
